Briljant Heineken hoax
For those who don’t understand Italian a quick explaination: on the 21th of October was one of the biggest games of the year in the Champions League between Real Madrid and AC Milan. Imagine you are an AC Milan supporter, you definitely don’t want to miss that game. Well if your girlfriend ask you really kindly to go watch a concert with her with a good excuse and your boss thinks it’s good to meet some clients there. It’s hard to refuse.
Heineken and La Gazetta Dello Sport invited bosses and girlfriends from the fanatic supporters of AC Milan to do a prank by going to a classic concert at Scherzo Auditorium. During the concert, text appears on a big screen:
- It’s really difficult to say no to your boss, no?
- And for your girlfriend it could be even worse!
- Well how could they do that to you, make you miss the most important match of the year…
At that moment the musicians start to play the Champions League tune and the Heineken logo appears with the line:
- Are you still with us?
After that the game starts on the big screen and beers were served and the best they saved for last. AC Milan won the game 3-2 from Real Madrid.
